Apple Cake!

I love apples, especially when they are combined with caramel! This simple and delicious cake scream fall, warm and cozy!


7 apples (honey crisp, granny smith, pink lady, braeburn, Jonagold)

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 cup sugar + 3-4 tbsp. sugar for apples

4 eggs (room temperature)

1/2 cup canola oil

1 tsp. pure Vanilla Extract

Pinch of salt

1 cup of all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Powdered sugar for decoration (optional)

9-Inch Round Cake Pan with removable bottom


1. Mix peeled and diced apples with 3-4 tbsp. of sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon

2. In separate bowl (with hand mixer) mix room temperature eggs with 1 cup sugar

3. Add oil, salt, vanilla extract, flour and baking powder (don’t over mix the batter)

4. Grease pan with butter or nonstick cooking spray and put the apples inside and pour the batter on top

5. Bake in preheated oven for about 50 minutes at 350° F on 2nd rack, or until it gets golden brown. Check if ready by poking it with toothpick. Let cool, dust powdered sugar.
